Synopsis

Celeste, who married the second prince of the great kingdom of Alucia in a political marriage, was coldly treated as a mere “ornamental princess” after her husband rejected her on their wedding night. Despite this, she continued to fulfill her duties at the royal court. However, after discovering her husband Hugo’s affair with her stepsister, she divorces him and leaves the palace. Sent away to a remote estate after returning to her family home, Celeste impresses Tristan, the king’s younger brother of neighboring Ilgard, by successfully resolving a dispute over water resources. He invites her to come to Ilgard, where she begins a new life as a diplomat and finally has the opportunity to demonstrate her abilities.
