Synopsis

Through a political marriage with an enemy nation, Elfreda has become the queen of the kingdom. The only one welcoming the queen of barbarian descent is the assassin sent to kill her. In that life-or-death moment, Elfreda falls in love at first sight with her husband, Ainar, who saved her, and gradually becomes deeply enamored with him. Meanwhile, Ainar, who had married Elfreda from the start solely to use her as the granddaughter of his enemy, also finds himself unwittingly falling for the pure and lovely Elfreda... Even though she knows she is not loved by him, and even though he knows he must not love her, the two are drawn to each other. Will this love end in ruin? (Source: Naver, translated)
